Every year we manage to find a new walk & never tire of the lush rolling Devon Hills, Rivers & Coastline. It is easy to see how it get the title 'area of outstanding natural beauty' We have detailed maps in the apARTment to help you discover a little bit more whilst down here whatever your ability may be....
WALKS & COASTAL PATHS
Dartmouth Riverside promenade & Town - simply walk along the riverside from Dart Marina Hotel to Bayards Cove and explore the narrow streets with shops, cafes and restaurants.
Dartmouth town to Dartmouth Castle - wonderful walk following the river right to the castle at the rivermouth . Some wonderful views and tea room at the castle
Dartmouth Castle to Little Dartmouth - follow the South West Coast path along this stunning stretch of coastline.
Dartmouth Castle up to Gallants Bower - The walk up the hill is worth it to see spectacular panoramic views out to sea and back over Dartmouth.
Kingswear to Greenway - a wonderful walk following the wooded banks of the River Dart
Kingswear to Froward Point - a dramatic walk in the direction of Brixham with castles, cliffs and wildlife.
Dartmouth to Kingswear via Higher ferry & train track path.
Torcross to Beesands - lovely walk with panoramic views starting at one pub and finishing at another!
Dartmoor - so many walks on and around the moors - spectacular views from the Tors and some wonderful walks close to the river in woodlands - some great spots to paddle.
Holden Forest - some great trails through the forest with great views towards Exeter.
Dartmouth to Dittisham - pass through woodland , farmland and along the river to the quaint village of Dittisham with quayside pub and cafe.
Bolberry Down to Soar Mill Cove - Stunning 4.5 mile circular with excellent restaurant 33 BY THE SEA, next to start point.
Start Point lighthouse - walk to the lighthouse from the Start point car park.
Old Mill Creek - a wooded walk on the riverside ideal for dogs.
