Ignore your Sat Nav, you won't regret it!
We send all our guests the directions below, but many can not resist their SatNavs default instructions to come off the A38 for Torbay & Paignton. The Torbay route is mainly dual carriage ways & surburban new building developments & it will add a £6 ferry crossing to your final approach to Dartmouth. Many guests then struggle approaching us from the ferry in Dartmouth, taking very narrow streets to get to Fairview Road. So if you can resist the voice of your SatNav & trust us on this..... if you stay on the A38 & exit for Totnes at Dartington there are so many lovely things you can see & do en route & save the £6 you would have spent on the ferry, for a coffee. Just a few ideas listed below with links. All this & you have not even arrived! This approach to Dartmouth will not bring you on any narrow streets.
A few things to see en route, via Totnes route!Apologies to Torbay Tourism for this bi pass!
